About the Case Study

Depesche would like to modernise its B2B online shop and place it on a new technical foundation. After ten years of good cooperation with silver.solutions, the choice of the wholesaler for the project implementation once again falls to the Berlin based e-commerce service provider. The relaunch includes an upgrade of the silver.eShop as well as individual adaptations of the e-commerce platform to meet the B2B retailer's requirements. For the first time, Depesche's product catalogue is also available online for non-registered customers.

An important part of the project is the ERP integration with the online shop. Depesche uses the web.connector for the data exchange with the in-house Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The smart interface ensures that the products, data and processes from the ERP can be used in the shop at any time without unnecessarily burdening MS Dynamics NAV.

With the e-commerce project Depesche is also introducing a number of new functions for its B2B customers. These include, for example, an even more convenient quick order function, which allows not only the entry of order numbers, but also the uploading of entire order lists. Saved shopping baskets make it possible to collect products before ordering, without losing the selection.
