Sonic Healthcare Germany kicks off Multishop project with Dynamics AX integration
Based on Ibexa DXP and silver.solutions' Multishop platform, Sonic Healthcare Germany is introducing new B2B shops for its German laboratories. The Multishop will be connected to the group's own ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics AX using the B2B-Connector for AX. The online shops will offer laboratory materials for doctors and clinics.
The B2B shops are scheduled to go online in 2022.

silver.solutions was commissioned by Sonic Healthcare Germany to implement a comprehensive Multishop project with integration into Microsoft Dynamics AX and other existing systems.
On Sonic Healthcare's Multishop platform, each laboratory appears with its own logo, can configure certain areas of the shop and maintain its own content. When a customer logs in, the available products and content of the respective laboratory are retrieved from the ERP system. To do this, silver.solutions implements catalogue segmentation and the retrieval of client-specific content such as individual article name and description.
Jean-Pierre Rüth, ERP Project Lead at Sonic Healthcare, is looking forward to the cooperation. He sees the even better supply and networking for the physicians in private practice and hospitals at the German Sonic Healthcare locations. These customers order materials for laboratory services from their respective local laboratory.
The customers also get access to their receipt history via the B2B online shop, for example to download invoices as PDFs. The data comes from Sonic Healthcare Germany's DMS. silver.solutions integrates the DMS using the B2B-Connector middleware, which is also responsible for the secure Dynamics AX connection with the Multishop. Other industry-specific systems are also connected using the middleware.
