What is “Accessibility” in terms of web design and why is so important? Accessibility means websites and their content should be accessible for everyone; no matter what kind of hurdles pile up between user and content.
Martin Nørgaard Gregersen, web designer with silver.solutions GmbH, has done some research on the topic and published an interesting article on our eZ-Publish-Blog.
The bottom line: Development and design with regards to accessibility is neither a feature nor an extra or a nice to have thing. It is a joint responsibility of designers and developers towards our customers.
